Requirements
Must:
We are looking for individuals who meet the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related STEM discipline.
- Over 10 years of experience in SharePoint development, both on-premise and online, including the SharePoint Framework (SPFx).
- At least 5 years of practical experience in Power Platform development, specifically in Power Automate, PowerApps, and Power Fx.
- Demonstrated ability to create complex workflows in Power Automate, including approvals, HTTP requests, system integrations, and exception management.
- Proficiency in web technologies such as HTML, JavaScript/TypeScript, jQuery, JSON, and CSS.
- Experience in backend development with .NET/C#, REST APIs, and SQL Server.
- Familiarity with integrating SharePoint/Power Platform with third-party APIs and Microsoft services.
- Understanding of UX/UI design, accessibility considerations, and cross-platform compatibility.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 environments, governance, and security practices.

Responsibilities
As part of our team, you will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing automated workflows and business process solutions using Power Automate, integrated with SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365.
- Creating custom PowerApps (both Canvas and Model-driven) to enhance collaboration, streamline forms, and improve business operations.
- Designing and deploying SharePoint-hosted applications utilizing SPFx, while ensuring they are scalable, high-performing, and secure.
- Crafting responsive front-end interfaces with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, and JSON.
- Integrating external APIs, third-party tools, and Microsoft services ( including Teams, Outlook, and Dataverse ) with the Power Platform and SharePoint.
- Optimizing and troubleshooting existing workflows and applications to boost performance and enhance user experience.
- Ensuring that all solutions adhere to cybersecurity policies, data governance, and best practices in lifecycle management.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements, converting business needs into technical solutions.
- Conducting technical code reviews and mentoring junior developers on Power Platform and SharePoint development.
Description
This is a full-time position with a salary range of $130,000 to $160,000 per year. We offer an attractive benefits package that includes a 401(k) plan with matching contributions, dental and health insurance, a health savings account, paid time off, a retirement plan, tuition reimbursement, and vision insurance. We do require candidates to work 100% on-site at Fort Meade, MD, as there are no remote or hybrid options available. Additionally, to qualify for the role, prospective employees should have 9 years of SharePoint development experience and 5 years in Power Platform development. A security clearance of Secret is also required for this position.
