Requirements
Must:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience in a technical discipline
- Minimum of six (6) years of experience in analyzing and defining security requirements
- At least four (4) years of IT experience focused on data security
- A minimum of four (4) years of specialized experience in outlining security requirements for high-level applications
- Familiarity with AWS tools and cloud services (e.g., AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Proficiency in developing web and Windows-based applications, particularly using .NET and Visual Studio
- Strong analytical skills for assessing complex security issues swiftly
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration across teams
- Preferred advanced certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or CISM
Responsibilities
- Conduct IT systems analysis and programming
- Design, develop, engineer, and implement solutions to meet MLS requirements
- Create and manage operating systems, communication software, and database packages, while modifying existing software for enhanced system efficiency
- Perform thorough unit and integration testing to maintain system stability and security
- Ensure adherence to industry security best practices and OAuth2 standards, particularly for SSO implementation
- Engage in continuous improvement of the SSO system through regular testing and code reviews
- Execute risk analyses and assessments, providing direction to team members
- Collaborate on cloud architecture design focusing on security
- Conduct vulnerability research and monitor network health to comply with PCI standards
- Lead incident management efforts following ITIL methodologies and assist in computer forensics investigations when required
- Develop automation scripts to bolster system security, leveraging DevOps practices for secure software deployment
