Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in FI/CO configuration within both S/4HANA and ECC
- Ability to navigate full project cycles including requirements gathering, configuration, testing, and go-live
- Knowledge of critical integration points with SD, MM, and PP
- Excellent communication skills paired with a collaborative and solution-oriented approach
- Flexibility to work remotely with some travel for essential workshops or training
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary contact for Finance teams aiming to optimize close cycles and address AP/AR challenges
- Facilitate understanding of cross-module impacts within projects
- Engage in configuration tasks including GL, cost centers, internal orders, and payment programs
- Provide support for billing, GR/IR processes, and costing integrations with SD, MM, and PP
- Assist in mapping and migrating Finance data for future rollouts
- Draft clear functional specifications for development teams
- Collaborate with Shared Services, Business Units, technical teams, and global stakeholders to meet diverse needs
- Advocate for the adoption of modern S/4 features such as Universal Journal, Business Partners, and enhanced Asset Accounting
Description
We are supporting our client in their transition from a mixed ECC landscape to a unified S/4HANA Finance model. As an SAP FICO Lead, you will play a crucial role in developing a new global Finance template, contributing to a multi-year global rollout, and facilitating ongoing system improvements. Our environment is dynamic yet collaborative, providing you with the opportunity to engage with various teams and stakeholders, ensuring efficient and sustainable solutions for Finance users. This position allows for remote work within the region, offering flexibility alongside occasional travel for important workshops or training.
