Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience) - Over 7 years of progressive experience in network engineering within a complex enterprise environment - Advanced proficiency in Routing & Switching, SD-WAN, Wireless networking, Firewalls, Load Balancers (F5 or comparable), Zero Trust Networks, Cloud networking architectures - Extensive hands-on experience with monitoring and management tools such as BlueCat, Zabbix, SolarWinds, Catalyst Center, ThousandEyes, Scrutinizer, and Splunk - Strong comprehension of network architecture design principles, high availability, redundancy models, and performance enhancement - Proven ability to spearhead technical initiatives and mentor engineers in a collaborative team environment - Demonstrated success in troubleshooting and resolving intricate, enterprise-scale network challenges - Experience in managing site-specific documentation, infrastructure risk tracking, and multi-site coordination - Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the capacity to convey intricate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders - Strong organizational skills coupled with exceptional attention to detail - Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP or higher) preferred

Responsibilities

- Lead the design, implementation, and integration of enterprise network solutions to ensure scalability, resiliency, security, and operational excellence - Drive the delivery of strategic initiatives that align with the network architecture roadmap - Act as a senior technical authority for Routing & Switching, SD-WAN, Wireless, Firewalls, Load Balancers, Z-Scaler, IPAM, and Cloud networking technologies - Evaluate, test, and validate new software images and network technologies to guarantee secure and stable deployment across the enterprise - Establish, maintain, and audit network configuration standards to ensure consistency, compliance, and optimized performance - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to NOC and Solution Engineering teams, delivering formal and informal training to enhance team skills - Serve as an escalation point for complex network incidents, providing root cause analysis and long-term resolution strategies - Oversee optimization and strategic use of network monitoring and observability platforms including SolarWinds, Catalyst Center, ThousandEyes, Scrutinizer, and Splunk - Define monitoring standards and suggest enhancements based on specific site criteria, risk profiles, and business importance - Maintain logical and physical site diagrams, infrastructure risk registries, and oversee site-related projects, requests, and incidents - Review and approve global network changes to ensure adherence to architecture standards and enterprise policies - Collaborate across functions to promote network initiatives and align infrastructure strategy with broader organizational objectives - Serve as a liaison with vendors and technology partners to enhance performance, innovation, and resolve issues - Support annual operating planning (AOP), budget development, hardware lifecycle management, disaster recovery exercises, security assessments, and audit processes - Lead meetings, workshops, and cross-site coordination efforts to promote collaboration and knowledge sharing
