Requirements
Must:
- Over 8 years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or cloud-based data/AI solutions.
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- Proven expertise in multi-cloud environments, including AWS and Azure, particularly S3, Redshift, Glue, Lambda, Kinesis, Azure Data Lake, Synapse Analytics, and Fabric.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Databricks and/or Fabric Lakehouse, focusing on developing scalable data pipelines and enhancing Delta Lake storage performance.
- Strong proficiency in PySpark, Python, SQL, and Power BI for data processing, visualization, ETL/ELT, and transformation activities.
- Experience with RAG architectures, vector databases, and agentic AI frameworks for enterprise-level knowledge retrieval.
- Solid understanding of cloud security protocols, IAM roles, encryption methods, and compliance standards such as GDPR and HIPAA.
- Familiarity with CI/CD methodologies for data solutions using platforms like GitHub, GitHub Actions, Terraform, and Azure DevOps.
- Background in creating real-time and batch data processing systems utilizing Kafka, Kinesis, Spark Streaming, or Event Hubs.
- Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting, optimizing performance, and deploying AI/ML models in cloud settings.
- Leadership capabilities to guide technical decisions and navigate teams toward data-centric enterprise solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, enabling the translation of complex technical and AI concepts into business-oriented solutions.
- Collaborative experience working across IT, business, and AI/analytics teams.
- Competence in producing AI/ML user documentation, solution architecture blueprints, and diagrams.
- Enthusiasm for continuous learning, innovation, and keeping up with the latest trends in cloud, AI, and data technologies.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy secure, scalable, and high-performance data solutions using AWS, Microsoft Azure, Databricks, and Microsoft Fabric (Power BI).
- Create and architect comprehensive multi-cloud data platforms, ensuring seamless integration across various enterprise data sources along with storage, processing, AI services, and consumption layers.
- Establish and uphold data governance, security, and compliance protocols within AWS and Azure cloud environments, ensuring proper access controls and data protection measures are in place.
- Lead the evaluation and deployment of cloud-based data frameworks, including data lakes, data warehouses, real-time streaming, and advanced analytics.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Data Engineers, Data Scientists, AI/ML Engineers, Security Architects, and Business Analysts, to promote the adoption of contemporary data and AI architectures.
- Develop and maintain guidelines for data modeling, cataloging, lineage tracking, and metadata management within Databricks, Redshift, Synapse, Fabric Lakehouse, and Power BI environments.
- Foster innovation in data integration, AI-generated data mesh strategies, autonomous AI workflows, and self-service analytics capabilities for enterprise users.
