Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Chemistry, Material Science, Engineering, or related field; higher degrees preferred
- MBA is an advantage
- Over 5 years of experience in capital equipment product management and business development in OEM sectors
- At least 5 years of experience with spectroscopic applications and implementations
- Familiarity with Process Analytical Technology (PAT) is a plus
- Chemometric experience is beneficial
- Strong problem-solving capabilities with attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to hold oneself accountable and drive projects to completion
- Ability to collaborate effectively with scientists, engineers, and clients
Responsibilities
- Oversee and ensure successful launches of products
- Engage with sales and technical support teams through training and participation in sales events
- Actively collect intelligence on industry trends, competitors, suppliers, and products
- Investigate and develop new market applications within our portfolio
- Collaborate on projects related to product management and liaise with other teams across the organization
- Create scientifically relevant content for marketing materials and train sales teams
- Conduct or arrange necessary product and application training
- Perform ongoing portfolio management tasks as required
- Formulate long-term product strategies and partake in financial planning for product positioning and growth
- Drive initiatives to enhance revenue, profit margins, customer engagement, and market share
- Lead lifecycle management for the existing product portfolio
