Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 5 years of combined higher education and/or relevant work experience in systems infrastructure, management, or IT support
- Over 4 years of experience working directly with clients to identify their business and technical needs and to implement effective technical solutions
- Strong understanding of IT processes and best practices related to infrastructure and cloud technologies
- Preferred background in GMP environments or deploying, maintaining, and developing validated systems in regulated healthcare settings
- Proficiency in Windows and/or Linux systems administration and network device management
- Familiarity with industrial or laboratory control systems (e.g., SCADA, Historian, Chromatography, IIoT)
- Experience in Configuration Management in IT and/or industrial automation systems (e.g., CMDB, Asset Center, ClarOTy)
- Skilled in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving issues on PCs and third-party applications supported by corporate infrastructure and security
- Ability to provide smart hands support and guide on-site personnel for maintaining computer rooms, MDFs, IDFs, and various physical equipment like servers, switches, routers, and printers
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a driven and motivated attitude
- Capability to manage multiple complex projects
- Effective problem-solving abilities to assist in resolving issues
- Proficient at converting business requirements into technical designs to meet organizational objectives
- Self-starter with strong analytical skills along with the ability to document details efficiently
Responsibilities
- Lead the IT network infrastructure function for Pharma Services in St. Louis
- Provide support for business applications and infrastructure, as well as desktop access and administration for business colleagues
- Ensure compliance with Quality, SOX, GxP regulatory standards, and facilitate customer-specific data delivery
- Assist in the deployment and management of network infrastructure within the data center, including switches, routers, and servers
- Design and build business application infrastructure both on-premises and in cloud environments
- Collaborate with global IT teams to deliver solutions that adhere to global security and quality standards
- Work alongside global shared services IT deskside support team to offer in-house IT assistance for end users and resolve issues related to corporate applications and hardware
- Engage in team-based decision-making, problem-solving, and communication within and outside the organization
- Research emerging infrastructure technologies and make recommendations to management
- Partner with global shared services to perform environment builds using industry-standard tools
- Collaborate with Engineering and Global IT to support IIoT initiatives and enhance industrial cybersecurity
