Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree preferred; a combination of experience and education will be considered.
- ITIL certification is preferred.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in desktop support.
- Familiarity with client/server networks, internet protocols, and Active Directory.
- Proven problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication abilities.
- Experience managing customer relations effectively.
- Global collaboration experience is a plus.
- Understanding of service delivery operations.
- Strong analytical and creative problem-solving capabilities.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting computer and network issues.
- Ability to effectively communicate with vendors and provide site guidance.
- Capability to work with functional support teams to resolve issues promptly.
- Technical skills in PC and application support, including configuration and troubleshooting.
Responsibilities
- Provide in-house support for end users.
- Manage IMAC support tasks.
- Resolve user issues independently without direct oversight from management or senior team members.
- Address resolutions for corporate applications and hardware.
- Support resolutions for applications used by various business groups.
- Manage incident and request queues, including ticket creation, categorization, and prioritization.
- Collaborate with partners to direct customers to the appropriate support groups.
- Conduct health checks and maintain registers for data center operations.
- Handle mounting and unmounting of hardware in the data center, ensuring safe handling.
- Install and configure PCs, laptops, printers, and scanners, as well as address related issues.
