Requirements
Must:
- University Engineering Degree or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience on advanced systems, or comparable military background
- Over 5 years of experience with SEM, TEM, FIB, Circuit Analysis, or analogous systems
- Strong ability to collaborate effectively with clients
- Exceptional interpersonal communication abilities; professional proficiency in English is required
- High level of expertise in Windows software, network fundamentals, and current computer hardware
- Must be able to obtain a valid passport and travel regionally and internationally as necessary
- Must possess a valid drivers license
- Physical capabilities to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to gain access to US Government laboratories and facilities, if necessary
Responsibilities
- Perform on-site installations throughout the region
- Conduct scheduled maintenance visits according to commitments and timelines
- Provide troubleshooting and repair assistance to customers and fellow field service personnel
- Foster and build strong working relationships with users and colleagues
- Complete required technical training
- Travel frequently, sometimes on short notice, to customer locations to address issues
- Communicate effectively with external customers and internal stakeholders
- Work alongside colleagues in both mentoring and learning capacities for personal and team enhancement
- Participate in ongoing improvement initiatives for service, documentation, and product factories
- Collaborate with application scientists, technical support engineers, and clients to tackle complex customer issues
