Data Scientist - Python, Machine Learning

- Advanced degree preferred with no prior experience required, or a Bachelors degree along with 2 years in applied data science or a similar position - Preferred academic backgrounds include Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline - Relevant certifications in machine learning, AI, or data science are advantageous - High proficiency in Python, SQL, and data analysis software - Strong expertise in machine learning methods, statistical modeling, and data visualization - Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure, as well as modern data architectures - Skilled in data engineering and ETL operations - Experience with Databricks, Spark, and big data technologies - Knowledge of generative AI and natural language processing concepts - Solid understanding of statistical principles and experimental design methodologies - Proficient in data visualization tools like Power BI and Tableau - Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities - Strong interpersonal skills with the capacity to convey complex findings to various stakeholders - Experience in collaborative cross-functional environments - Proven track record in delivering impactful data-driven solutions - Ability to work autonomously while also collaborating effectively with team members - Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git - Willingness to travel occasionally (0-25%)
