Requirements
Must:
- Masters degree in Information Systems Engineering or a related discipline
- Strong experience in designing and managing data architectures within distributed systems
- Proven expertise in developing data pipelines and ETL workflows for scientific and geospatial datasets
- Familiarity with high-performance computing systems and job scheduling tools such as HTCondor
- Proficient in monitoring and observability platforms like Grafana and Elasticsearch
- Experience with MongoDB and multidimensional geospatial data, including data cubes
- Skilled in Python for data processing and analysis
- Knowledgeable in using NumPy and Xarray
- Experience with Apache technologies including Kafka and Spark
Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust data architectures for distributed environments
- Develop and maintain data pipelines and ETL workflows for various data types
- Optimize the performance of high-performance computing tasks and job scheduling
- Utilize monitoring tools to ensure system performance and reliability
- Manage geospatial data and create multidimensional data cubes
