Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in information technology
- Proficiency in advanced systems management and technical support
- Fluent in active directory, group policy, desktop management, and server administration
- Familiarity with federal compliance standards like FERPA, HIPAA, and PCI
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with cloud services such as Amazon AWS and Microsoft Azure
- Competence in leading enterprise service planning and maintaining operational agreements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proven track record in project management and team leadership
Responsibilities
- Lead the Franklin OIT Systems Management team to meet the colleges strategic vision
- Oversee multiple complex projects with financial accountability and stakeholder coordination
- Supervise, mentor, and support team members in their professional development
- Provide technical support for faculty, staff, and college back-end services
- Consult on diverse IT services, including server hosting and budgeting for grants
- Represent Franklin OIT in various college and campus initiatives
- Ensure compliance with institutional, state, and federal guidelines
- Work collaboratively with information security and other campus groups
- Foster innovation and contribute to the establishment of IT standards and practices
