Candidates are also expected to have strong programming capabilities in languages like C, C++, Fortran, Python, or others typically used in HPC environments. A deep comprehension of parallel programming frameworks, proficiency in HPC tools, and a solid understanding of algorithms and data structures suitable for parallel processing are crucial aspects of the role. We believe in fostering a culture of continuous learning in technology, encouraging the ability to document code effectively, and supporting computational sciences, engineering, artificial intelligence/machine learning (AI/ML), and other research fields in hydrology.
