Requirements
Must:
- U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.
- Males born after 12/31/1959 must be registered for Selective Service.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a top-secret Tier 5 clearance.
- Experience in data science and information management principles.
- Proficiency in at least two relevant areas such as cloud platforms, generative Artificial Intelligence (AI), programming, or Machine Learning Operations (MLOps).
- Strong analytical abilities to evaluate data science projects and operations.
- Excellent communication skills to translate complex findings into accessible language for diverse audiences.
- Relevant certifications in data science or related fields are a plus.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate the performance and impact of data science initiatives and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create data categorizations and electronic records metadata.
- Spearhead the design and execution of statistically sound data collection systems while analyzing agency functions to establish data reporting needs.
- Work with internal stakeholders to develop and sustain data models, reporting mechanisms, automation tools, and dashboards utilizing diverse data sources.
- Simplify intricate concepts and analytical results into clear presentations tailored for senior agency officials, using storytelling techniques as necessary.
- Articulate analytical outcomes to both technical and non-technical audiences while effectively addressing inquiries and providing actionable recommendations to senior leadership regarding advanced projects.
