Requirements
Must:
- Masters degree or a foreign equivalent in Information Systems Management, Information Technology, Business Analytics, Data Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field
- Three (3) years of relevant professional experience
- Proficiency in Data Science, advanced analytics, machine learning, and statistics
- Experience in constructing and implementing machine learning models using xgboost and decision trees
- Strong skills in employing statistical methods for forecasting
- Advanced technical capability in python/packages, including pandas, numpy, regex, scikit-learn, xgboost, and visualization tools (such as matplotlib, seaborn, or plotly)
- Experience in developing dashboards using Tableau or similar software
- Knowledge in data extraction and scraping techniques
- Ability to interpret stakeholder requirements and convert them into technical project deliverables
- Experience with Ecommerce Analytics related to online retailers, inventory management, and product categories
- Two (2) years of experience in applying natural language processing techniques for text classification
Responsibilities
- Present Insights and Data Model results to both business and scientific stakeholders
- Work 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
- Develop and deploy machine learning models to support data-driven decision-making
- Analyze data using advanced analytics and statistical methods
- Create engaging data visualizations and dashboards to communicate findings
- Collaborate with team members to translate stakeholder needs into actionable project outputs
- Conduct Ecommerce Analytics to optimize online store performance
- Utilize telecommuting options as permitted by the organization
