Requirements
Must:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree is preferred.
- A minimum of seven years of data engineering experience or an equivalent background.
- Ten years of programming/development experience is preferred.
- Four years of experience in a technical leadership role.
- Proven background as a Full Stack Designer/Architect or a similar position, emphasizing data engineering and Generative AI applications.
- Proficiency in programming languages like Python and SQL.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS and associated services (e.g., AWS Lambda, S3, EC2, RDS, Redshift).
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker, Kubernetes, or ECS.
- Strong understanding of database systems and data processing frameworks (e.g., SQL, NoSQL, Spark, Databricks).
- Knowledge of Generative AI concepts, including Agentic Frameworks, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), LLM, Chunking, and Hyper-parameters.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the proficiency to engage effectively with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, configuration, and maintenance of Generative AI applications, including data ingestion, processing, storage, and analysis.
- Support the development of Generative AI products within our cloud environments.
- Mentor and guide technical team members.
- Collaborate with technology and data partners, business stakeholders, data scientists, and engineers to create Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions and integrate Large Language Model (LLM) frameworks into production-grade applications.
- Develop APIs and microservices for seamless data access and integration across various components of the Generative AI platform.
- Implement best practices for code quality, testing, and documentation to ensure the reliability, maintainability, and scalability of our software systems.
- Stay informed about the latest trends and technologies in data engineering and Generative AI and apply them to enhance our platform.
