Requirements
Must:
- 5-6 years of experience in network engineering or administration preferred
- Proven track record in network platform expertise and understanding of essential technical concepts for effective network management
- Familiarity with network industry trends and an awareness of business issues related to network priorities
- In-depth knowledge of current network systems and some understanding of adjacent technologies
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related STEM field, or equivalent work experience combined with 4 years of network engineering expertise
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on delivering long-term network solutions
- Intermediate skills in project delivery, including timeline estimation and automation
- Excellent communication skills to translate complex network concepts for business stakeholders
- Leadership qualities that foster a safe environment for team members to grow and learn
- Active listening skills and a collaborative approach to team interactions
Responsibilities
- Manage and support DNS, DHCP, and IP Management infrastructure and services both on-premises and in the cloud
- Oversee service automation and pipeline development for user delivery
- Conduct complex analysis, design, and implementation of network infrastructure platforms in cloud and on-premises environments
- Define and implement advanced technical requirements for network solutions using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) best practices
- Design and refine network deployment processes and automation workflows for hybrid cloud environments
- Facilitate the architecture of robust network infrastructure solutions that enable connectivity across the technology stack
- Work independently on various network infrastructure engineering issues in complex environments
- Implement comprehensive monitoring and disaster recovery systems for network infrastructure
- Provide technical mentorship to junior Network Engineers while enhancing knowledge of emerging technologies
- Perform additional duties as assigned
