Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors degree in computer science, related STEM field, or equivalent work experience with at least 2 years of network engineering experience. - Minimum of 3 years of experience in network engineering or administration preferred. - Demonstrated knowledge of enterprise IP networks and network security principles. - Familiarity with Next Generation Firewall platforms such as Checkpoint, Palo Alto, or ZScaler, supporting Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA). - Proficiency in authentication technologies including RADIUS, TACACS, and Microsoft Entra. - Solid understanding of protocols such as IPSec, EAP/TLS, 802.1X, and SAML. - Experience with automation tools, API development, and testing tools like Postman. - Scripting capabilities in Python or Ansible. - Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders. - Proven problem-solving abilities, with a knack for network debugging in complex environments.

Responsibilities

- Analyze, design, and implement network infrastructure platforms across both cloud and on-premises settings with precision. - Engage in design and planning discussions, offering consultation to peers and customers. - Research and test proposed networking solutions; conduct compliance audits for standards adherence. - Provide production support and manage incident responses as necessary. - Define and implement technical specifications for network solutions utilizing Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) methodologies. - Design automation workflows for network deployment while analyzing and resolving mid-complexity infrastructure issues. - Configure and enhance both cloud-based and on-site network systems for reliable connectivity and performance. - Establish monitoring systems for network infrastructure, ensuring security protocol compliance for both environments. - Collaborate with Infrastructure Engineers to boost network performance across hybrid setups. - Independently tackle scoped network engineering challenges while aligning efforts with business priorities. - Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
