Requirements

Must:
- A Bachelor’s degree in a technology-related field or an equivalent combination of work experience is a must. - At least 10 years of experience in technology architecture, particularly in enterprise, application, and/or information architecture within a line of business or enterprise area. - Proven experience mentoring architectural leaders. - Demonstrated leadership in organizational and transformational initiatives within an agile framework. - Significant experience in software engineering at an expert level. - Ability to define and establish strategic technology directions and architectural visions for an organization. - A strong record of influencing C-level executives. - Previous experience in insurance technology is advantageous. - Solid understanding of value creation and business capability models. - Preferred qualifications include an AWS Security Specialty Certification and hands-on experience in the last three years with relevant technologies. - Experience executing technology modernization initiatives, such as migrating to cloud-native platforms and developing an API strategy. - Familiarity with AWS, APIs, accelerators, and DevSecOps practices. - Strong understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM), Zero Trust principles, and cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST and Cloud Security Alliance methodologies.

Responsibilities

- As a Cybersecurity Lead Architect, I will be responsible for the architecture of our Cybersecurity business unit and will collaborate with senior leaders within Technology and Business to establish architecture priorities that support business objectives. - I will lead complex Identity and Access Management (IAM) initiatives aimed at enhancing customer identity security, modernizing access control, and implementing multi-factor authentication (MFA) for internal applications. - Supporting Zero Trust Network Access initiatives is also a key aspect of my role. - I will provide guidance in applications security, threat management, and the modernization of our overall vulnerability management capabilities. - Additionally, I will deliver, publish, and promote cyber architecture patterns, guidelines, and decision records. - To ensure our architecture solutions are feasible, I will define and lead proofs of concept in technology. - I will engage in hands-on prototyping of new technological solutions. - Driving continuous technology transformation to reduce technical debt and partnering with senior software engineering leadership will be essential to my success in this role. - Lastly, I will seek opportunities to leverage technological advancements by analyzing industry trends and assessing their potential impact on our enterprise.
