Requirements
Must:
We prefer candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, a related STEM field, or equivalent work experience, along with two years of cloud engineering experience. Additionally, we look for individuals with experience in cloud/platform engineering, specifically three years is preferred. Certifications such as AWS Developer Associate, AWS SYSOPS Administrator Associate, AWS DevOps Engineer Professional, and AWS Solutions Architect are advantageous but not mandatory. Technical competencies include intermediate knowledge of process discipline and IDLC methodology, full-stack software development using GoLang, Python, and/or Javascript with the Vue framework, familiarity with CI/CD DevOps tools like Jenkins and Docker, and understanding Infrastructure as Code principles.
Responsibilities
In this role, I will be responsible for conducting analysis, design, and implementation of Cloud services across public cloud environments, ensuring a high level of accuracy. My technical execution will involve completing engineering tasks for specific system assignments, which includes developing, configuring, testing, debugging, documenting, and monitoring systems based on design specifications. I will write and support Infrastructure-As-Code within approved pipelines and develop automation for cloud management tasks. Additionally, I will collaborate with Technology Engineers, identify opportunities for optimization, define technical requirements for cloud solutions, design automation workflows, and implement monitoring systems to ensure compliance with security protocols.
