Requirements
Must:
- Three years of experience in Business Systems or a similar field preferred
- Bachelors degree in Business, MIS, or a related discipline preferred
- Experience within Agile product teams preferred
- Familiarity with transformation processes and enabling change preferred
- Intermediate analytical thinking skills to identify problems, analyze information, and explore solutions
- Intermediate facilitation skills to assist group dynamics and understanding
- Intermediate verbal, written, and listening communication capabilities
- Intermediate teamwork skills for collaborative efforts
- Intermediate relationship management skills to build and maintain productive networks
- Intermediate understanding of internal and external factors affecting the property casualty industry
- Basic technological proficiency with job-specific applications
- Basic conflict management skills for resolving disputes collaboratively
- Intermediate change management skills to adapt to ambiguity and demands
- Basic risk-taking abilities to identify and manage risks effectively
- One year of experience in Business Systems or a related field required
- High school diploma or equivalent required
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, specify, and validate business and solution requirements
- Identify areas of contention and create a mutual understanding between business users and solution delivery teams
- Transition into unfamiliar business and systems domains with guidance
- Ensure clarity and comprehensibility of acceptance criteria for stakeholders
- Partner with the Agile Product Owner to prioritize business needs according to value, risks, and constraints
- Provide analysis and documentation to support solution discussions and define future actions
- Articulate acceptance criteria and desired business outcomes using relevant artifacts
- Ensure requirements are adequately covered in test strategies and plans, assisting in defect resolution
- Measure and monitor the quality of business analysis work
- Participate in documentation and acceptance criteria management for specific products or teams
- Work alongside product and team lead engineers to outline story details, acceptance criteria, and resource needs
- Identify and convey business objectives and value propositions for assigned initiatives
- Validate that acceptance criteria align with desired business outcomes and stakeholder needs
- Continuously enhance skills in elicitation, documentation, communication, and agile methodologies
- Support multiple initiatives as assigned
- Engage actively in the PI BA Community of Practice
