Senior Network Security Engineer

- Design, implement, and manage hybrid cloud and on-premises infrastructure (Azure, Entra ID, Active Directory, networking). - Administer and enhance VMware environments, including ESXi clusters, vCenter, HA/DRS, storage, and VMware Horizon View (VDI). - Conduct daily cybersecurity operations, which include alert investigations, incident responses, and breach mitigation efforts. - Operate advanced security tools like CrowdStrike, ThreatLocker, Abnormal Security, Vectra AI, Microsoft Defender, and SonicWALL firewalls. - Analyze logs and alerts across endpoints, identity platforms, email, and network traffic, ensuring each alert is thoroughly reviewed. - Authorize application elevations, access requests, and alterations to security policies while upholding least-privilege principles. - Update security policies, firmware, and configurations as standards advance. - Lead initiatives including software rewrite projects, custom application support, Azure storage ventures, and infrastructure improvements. - Plan and execute network expansions, office setups, and hardware installations across various locations. - Act as an escalation point for intricate helpdesk matters and engage in an after-hours on-call rotation. - Create documentation such as runbooks, escalation protocols, and security guidelines. - Assess and onboard third-party vendors for managed services, backups, and related tools.
