Workday Security Manager

- Establish and uphold security design and configuration standards for the Workday application throughout its development lifecycle - Audit and enhance the existing security framework while implementing additional controls as needed - Collaborate with HCM, Finance, and IT stakeholders to collect business requirements and guide the design and strategy of the Workday security model - Oversee Workday projects across various modules, ensuring compliance with SOD, sensitive data access, access request management, and emergency access protocols - Lead troubleshooting efforts within the security team related to configuration, domain, integration, and reporting security - Manage authentication policies and strategies for all Workday environments - Supervise the migration and change management process to ensure adherence to policies while promoting agility in the Workday platform - Assist with audits focusing on access controls and SOD for assigned ERP applications - Spearhead the development and execution of policies and procedures for new initiatives that ensure effective service delivery on the Workday platform - Create and manage project plans for the team to ensure timely and budget-conscious project completion - Define and communicate career advancement opportunities for team members, providing guidance to help achieve their goals - Offer technical leadership, mentoring, and coaching to all team members, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and teamwork - Maintain a strong level of customer service and ensure prompt resolution of customer inquiries - Uphold and promote our commitment to journalistic independence and our mission to seek the truth and help others understand the world - Report directly to the Executive Director of Workday Systems and Security
