Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of two years of experience in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment
- Familiarity with ConnectWise Manage and ConnectWise Automate preferred
- Relevant professional IT certifications such as Microsoft MCP, MCSA, or MCSE, SonicWall CSSA, Cisco CCNA, etc.
- Strong interpersonal skills including communication, active listening, and client support
- Proficient in diagnosing technical issues with the ability to multitask and adapt swiftly
- Awareness of key IT services provided by the organization
- Understanding of support tools and technologies used in IT service delivery
- Typing proficiency for efficient entry of service request details
- Self-driven and capable of thriving in a dynamic environment
- Ability to assist in creating and maintaining Statement of Work (SOW) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
- Capacity to train junior technicians as needed
- Readiness to handle internal escalations and on-site support as required
Responsibilities
- Provide IT support for technical issues related to Microsofts core business applications
- Support virtual environments using Microsoft Azure Cloud, Hyper-V, and VMware
- Design, implement, and provide assistance for Microsoft technologies including Windows Server, SQL Server, SharePoint, Office 365, and Teams
- Develop and execute system solutions for clients tailored to their needs
- Implement and manage disaster recovery strategies
- Provide technical support at the network level for WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, and system security
- Set up and support remote access solutions utilizing VPN and Remote Desktop Services
- Offer server support, including management of Active Directory and Group Policy
- Document systems and offer consulting services to provide system evaluations and suggestions
- Maintain communication with clients to update them on project progress and notify them of any changes or scheduled outages
- Work collaboratively within a team and demonstrate effective communication skills
- Gain business insight related to client operations and the relevance of IT to their strategic goals
- Document internal procedures relating to job responsibilities
- Enter time and expenses in ConnectWise as they occur
- Engage with training materials and blueprints available through ConnectWise University
- Process project tickets and tasks in accordance with the guidance from the Service Delivery Manager
- Ensure all work is logged into ConnectWise as service or project tickets
- Stay current with industry trends by reviewing relevant publications and online resources
