Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Statistics, Economics, Educational Measurement, or a related field is essential.
- Masters degree in business management or public administration is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent problem-solving capabilities.
- Demonstrated understanding of technical concepts, including data relationships and software configuration.
- Prior experience in programming, data analysis, or data reporting is preferred.
- Familiarity with online systems is a plus.
- Proficient in Excel.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough quality assurance checks on system data integration for all online reports across various clients.
- Evaluate assessment result samples against reporting specifications to verify adherence to documented rules and ensure accuracy.
- Record quality assurance findings by entering data into Jira and documenting detailed issues encountered.
- Collaborate with management and team members upon discovering issues and propose potential solutions to rectify errors in reports.
- Periodically review quality assurance strategies to identify best practices and opportunities for improvements that enhance efficiency and reduce reporting issues.
- Develop User Acceptance Testing documents that outline the different test cases clients can utilize for site testing.
Description
We are The Midtown Group, actively seeking 17 Data Reporting QC Assistants to join our dedicated team in support of a prominent EdTech and Research organization specializing in K-12 standardized testing. This team plays a vital role in delivering accurate test results in both online and paper formats, utilizing innovative technology and in-depth analysis of student score data to benefit educators and students nationwide. This project is expected to run from early March through at least mid-June, with potential extensions, and offers competitive hourly pay ranging from $27 to $33, plus bonuses for signing and completion. Our beautiful office is located in the northeast quadrant of Columbus, where we foster a welcoming environment for all our contractors.
