Requirements
Must:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows Operating Systems
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with printer installation and support
- Familiarity with mobile devices, including tablets and smartphones
- Basic understanding of networking principles
- Experience using IT Service Management (ITSM) tools
- Strong customer service skills
- Clear and effective verbal, written, and phone communication skills
- Excellent time management and task prioritization abilities
- Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation
- Ability to analyze complex issues and provide sound recommendations
- Experience in documentation and incident ticket tracking
- Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team
Responsibilities
- Receive, prioritize, document, and proactively troubleshoot technology issues and requests from end users through various communication channels
- Install, diagnose, repair, maintain, and upgrade software and hardware for laptops and desktops to ensure optimal performance and connectivity
- Provide end-user training when necessary
- Adhere to all company IT policies and standards for data protection
- Escalate support issues to relevant personnel as necessary
- Ensure that assigned requests are resolved promptly, using effective prioritization and escalation techniques
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve problems as required
- Create and maintain system and user documentation
- Keep an updated inventory of Computer/IT equipment assets
- Occasionally travel to remote locations for onsite support while following biosecurity protocols
- Participate in a rotational on-call schedule
