Must:
We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications: - Over 10 years of experience in Software Engineering, demonstrated through a mix of work experience, training, military service, or education. - At least 5 years of proficiency in Python coding. - A minimum of 4 years of experience in DevOps processes and Release Management. - Preferred qualifications include experience with Python, the Django framework, Nautobot, and a background in network engineering (though not required). Networking certifications such as CCNA or CCNP are also beneficial.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will be expected to: - Contribute to large-scale strategy planning. - Design, code, test, debug, and document various projects and programs within the technology domain, including upgrades and deployments. - Address moderately complex technical challenges that necessitate a comprehensive evaluation of technologies and procedures. - Resolve these issues while leading a team to effectively meet current and potential client needs, utilizing a strong understanding of functions, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements. - Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to overcome technical challenges and achieve objectives. - Lead projects, serve as an escalation point, and provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff members.

Description


We are seeking a contract Senior Software Engineer to spearhead automation initiatives within a collaborative agile team environment and ensure top-notch service delivery to the Wells Fargo networking teams. Our Secure Network Innovation and Automation (SNIA) team is tasked with network innovation, strategy formulation, and the management of automation projects, as well as network lab management. The Automation team works jointly with lab infrastructure, site reliability, and networking tower teams to automate network device configurations, device certification for upgrades or patch fixes, and automate repetitive Service Reliability Engineering (SRE) operations such as device software and configuration management, compliance testing, and reporting. Please note, this position does not allow for telecommuting, offers a hybrid work schedule, and does not provide relocation assistance or visa sponsorship.
