Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in marketing or a related field preferred or 5 years of equivalent experience
- A minimum of ten years managing consumer product lines or retail distribution channels is preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint required; experience with Microsoft Project, Teams, Agile, and Oracle is a plus
- Familiarity with developing engineered products utilizing internal and external R&D resources is preferred
- Background in developing consumer-oriented product packaging, pricing, positioning, messaging, collateral, demos, presentations, and other sales tools
- Strong analytical skills to manage pricing and project management tools
- Excellent organizational and planning abilities, capable of multi-tasking and meeting deadlines
- Willingness and ability to travel as needed
- Effective problem-solving skills to analyze issues and propose alternative solutions
- Resilience to handle pressure while maintaining a positive outlook and recovering quickly from setbacks
- Demonstrated leadership with integrity, honesty, and respect for confidentiality

Responsibilities
- Lead product development initiatives, planning, and lifecycle management across our portfolio
- Evaluate and prioritize product and customer requirements
- Define performance specifications and create merchandising and POP solutions
- Collaborate closely with Engineering, Operations, and Sales to ensure product success against revenue and customer satisfaction targets
- Oversee product categories like residential keys, office keys, and key fobs
- Conduct market research and develop merchandising strategies that resonate with consumer trends
- Serve as the main point of contact for product line reviews, business assessments, and trade shows
- Drive innovation in product development through effective project management while guiding cross-functional teams
- Foster collaboration with Engineering, Design, Sales, Marketing, and Licensors during product design and launch
- Analyze and test merchandising strategies to improve consumer engagement
- Manage product lifecycle from conception to end-of-life planning
- Track product line performance and identify areas for improvement
- Develop and share a detailed roadmap showcasing the strategic vision for machine-based products
- Forecast and monitor existing and new product lines to optimize revenue and overall business performance
- Support Sales and Channel teams with customer presentations and new program developments focusing on merchandising and promotional strategies
- Provide timely communication and expertise to Sales and Support teams while addressing issues across the retail network
- Analyze market trends, revenue, and margins to inform growth opportunities and strategic planning
- Collaborate with partners to refresh channel strategies and enhance product visibility in retail environments
- Strengthen customer relationships within traditional specialty retail channels to foster long-term growth
