Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline
- 8+ years of experience in software development and cloud technologies
- Extensive expertise with Amazon Web Services (AWS), especially Amazon Connect
- Strong familiarity with AWS services including Amazon Lex, AWS Lambda, Amazon S3, and Amazon Kinesis
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform
- Experience with IBM API Connect (APIC) or significant exposure to creating, implementing, and integrating REST & SOAP APIs
- Proven leadership experience in managing technical projects and teams
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and skills in troubleshooting intricate technical challenges
- Strong verbal and written communication and teamwork capabilities
- AWS certification is mandatory
- Proficiency in programming languages like Node.js (preferably Node.js or Python, Java & JavaScript)
- Knowledge of API security protocols such as OAuth, SAML, JWT
- Comprehensive understanding of cloud architecture and best practices
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- US work authorization is required without company sponsorship
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of Amazon Connect solutions
- Oversee the integration of Amazon Connect with additional AWS services like Amazon Lex, AWS Lambda, Amazon S3, and Amazon Kinesis
- Provide technical direction and mentorship to team members
- Ensure scalability, reliability, and performance of contact center solutions
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including executive leadership, to gather requirements and deliver tailored solutions
- Conduct code reviews and ensure compliance with best practices and coding standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to AWS services
- Implement security best practices to safeguard sensitive data
- Stay informed about the latest AWS technologies and industry developments
