Requirements

Must:
- Advanced degree in Computer Science or a related field with a minimum of 10-12 years of experience in application development - Over 7 years of experience in application design including translating business requirements into functional solutions - Proven experience with cloud-hosted applications (preferably AWS) and integration with non-AWS applications - Familiarity with DuckCreek Products, including Policy, Billing, and Data Insights - Experience in continuous integration and DevOps methodologies, especially using tools like GitHub, Jenkins, Rally, and SonarQube - Understanding of Agile development frameworks such as Scaled Agile, Scrum, and Kanban - Expertise in creating high-performing applications capable of supporting over 2000 concurrent users - Proficiency in Microsoft SSIS and SSRS tools is highly preferred - Knowledge of front-end web technologies and frameworks including HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, Ajax, Angular/React, ASP.NET, and C# - Familiarity with Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance - Knowledge of implementing solutions using artificial intelligence (Gen AI) is a plus

Responsibilities

- Serve as the technical lead for one or more Scrum teams, ensuring accountability for technical deliverables across the software development lifecycle - Proactively identify and address technical issues or risks that may affect project timelines or application integrity - Collaborate closely with stakeholders to design and document solutions that meet business requirements and align with architectural vision - Mentor and train team members and sourcing partners on development guidelines and best practices - Coordinate across various disciplines (architects, business analysts, project managers, and customers) to design, develop, implement, and support intricate business solutions - Conduct detailed technical reviews, including code assessments, to ensure high-quality deliverables - Strong working experience as a designer/developer of REST API and SOAP web services, both as consumers and providers - Hands-on development work using .NET, ASP.NET, C#, HTML, XML, Java, JavaScript, Angular, JSON, and SQL as required - Prior experience with DuckCreek Suite of Products as well as its integrations with on-premises applications - Expertise in relational databases, particularly SQL Server and/or Oracle
