Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Over 5 years of professional software engineering experience
- Proficient programming skills in Python and .NET or Java
- Experience in developing cloud-native applications on AWS
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes and infrastructure-as-code tools
- Strong grasp of distributed systems and backend engineering principles
- Understanding of Intelligent Document Processing or GenAI-powered document platforms (preferred)
- Knowledge of OCR, NLP, or machine learning technologies (preferred)
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes (preferred)
- AWS certifications (preferred)
- Awareness of insurance or financial document types (preferred)
- Experience with agile methodologies (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Design, construct, test, and sustain scalable backend services for intelligent document processing workflows
- Develop cloud-native applications on AWS, utilizing managed services for secure and resilient solutions
- Optimize automated document workflows, covering ingestion, classification, extraction, and validation processes
- Manage performance, reliability, observability, and cost-effectiveness of services
- Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and fault-tolerance strategies
- Work with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into robust software solutions
- Engage in system design discussions, conduct code reviews, and participate in technical decision-making
- Contribute to Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and infrastructure-as-code initiatives
- Create and update technical documentation and runbooks
- Assess new technologies and engage in roadmap planning discussions
