Requirements

Must:
- Over 10 years of professional experience managing compute infrastructure in either on-premises or cloud settings - Proficient with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation - Experience utilizing GitHub for version control and automating workflows - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines like Jenkins or GitHub Actions - Scripting skills in languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python - Server administration experience on both Windows and Linux operating systems - Knowledge of generative AI tools such as GitHub Copilot or Amazon Q - Solid understanding of networking principles, including VPCs, subnets, and security protocols relevant to compute deployments - Strong organizational and communication abilities to handle multiple priorities - Commitment to engineering excellence and ongoing improvement - Effective collaboration and communication skills for working with cross-functional teams along with excellent critical thinking abilities - Bachelors degree in computer science or a related field - Strong documentation skills for creating and maintaining operational policies and procedures - A dedication to continuous learning - Authorization to work in the US without company sponsorship

Responsibilities

- Design and implement compute architectures that satisfy application requirements and align with organizational objectives - Collaborate with application teams to build scalable, secure, and high-performance compute solutions that comply with enterprise standards - Create images using tools like HashiCorp Packer to develop templates and AMIs - Develop and manage compute product modules with Terraform, adhering to best practices - Possess in-depth knowledge of automation for compute provisioning and automate repetitive tasks using Infrastructure as Code tools, including Ansible and Terraform - Formulate and maintain strategies for disaster recovery and high availability - Prepare deployment and standard operating procedure manuals - Manage source control, branching strategies, and CI/CD workflows utilizing GitHub - Automate the monitoring and alerting for compute performance and availability - Assess new product releases and make implementation recommendations for the latest versions - Integrate workflows with ServiceNow for change and incident management - Provide second-level support for diagnosing production incidents
