Requirements
Must:
- 7-10+ years of experience in software engineering, platform engineering, or cyber-focused application development, with a history of technical leadership roles.
- Proficient in full-stack application development, including frontend, backend, APIs, and integrations. Experience with modern UI frameworks such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, and frameworks like React or Angular, along with backend languages such as Java, C#, Python, or Node.js.
- Expertise in API design (REST/GraphQL), and familiarity with database technologies (SQL and NoSQL).
- Strong knowledge of cloud-native development on platforms such as Azure or AWS, along with CI/CD practices, infrastructure-as-code, containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and secure coding principles.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and systems-level thinking with the capability to collaborate across diverse product, security, and operations teams.
- In-depth hands-on experience with AWS cloud architecture and related services. Practical experience with AI/ML implementation, preferably with GCP (Vertex AI, BigQuery, ML pipelines, etc.).
- Proven ability in designing and delivering enterprise-scale cyber security and application platforms.
- Experience leading and mentoring distributed or offshore technical teams, and demonstrating influence across Cyber, Engineering, and Infrastructure organizations.
- Familiarity with logging and monitoring, edge and application security, AI-assisted development, ITSM workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployment platforms.
- Knowledge of application security, vulnerability management, and secure SDLC practices preferred.
- Relevant certifications such as AWS, AI/ML, security (CISSP, CISM, etc.), or full stack developer certification will strongly differentiate candidates.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a reliable technical advisor to the Enterprise Cyber Focal Lead, translating cyber strategy into impactful technical solutions.
- Design, create, and implement intricate cyber solutions utilizing AI/ML to enhance threat detection, vulnerability management, and risk assessment.
- Lead the architecture of end-to-end solutions, including design reviews and readiness for deployment of cyber platforms and tooling.
- Utilize full-stack application development skills to create secure, robust, and high-performance cyber applications and services.
- Architect and deliver solutions via AWS cloud services, adhering to cloud-native principles and security protocols.
- Apply hands-on AI/ML capabilities to develop intelligent cyber functionalities like analytics and anomaly detection.
- Collaborate with data, AI, and platform teams to ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and prepared for production deployment.
- Demonstrate practical expertise in enterprise security and monitoring tools to enhance threat detection and observability across the organization.
- Own the application vulnerability management process, overseeing tooling, integrations, and remediation workflows.
- Collaborate with the CISO and engineering teams to modernize and automate vulnerability intake and prioritization using AI.
- Establish and promote application security best practices and influence engineering teams through technical standards and reference architectures.
- Provide technical leadership to offshore engineering teams, offering design guidance, mentoring, and oversight of deliveries.
- Ensure high-quality engineering outcomes aligned with operational stability and compliance standards.
- Contribute to roadmap planning and ongoing improvements for cyber capabilities and platforms.
