IT security specialist with network focus

- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in at least one of the following areas: SOC Analyst, Threat hunting, Detection engineering, or Network Security engineering - Experience in client-facing roles, including active communication via email, instant messaging, and voice/video calls with screen sharing - At least 2 years of experience in troubleshooting technical systems, including documenting processes - Strong eagerness to learn, develop, and remain engaged with the evolving threat landscape - Ability to discuss key concepts of information security in at least three of the following areas: Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC), Cloud and hosted applications, Containerization, Application security, Network security and Zero Trust Architecture (ZTNA/NetSec), Endpoint security and OS hardening, Security tooling and reporting automation (using PowerShell/Python/Bash to generate reports), Malware analysis and forensic system analysis, Incident response and remediation, Penetration testing of applications, endpoints, or devices, Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) including the automation of feeds and processing alerts/vulnerabilities, Vulnerability Management, or Data Protection - Relevant certifications such as ISACA CRISC and ISC2 SSCP - Practical experience with SOAR and other automation tools - Familiarity with common AI models for automation, reporting, or research - Knowledge of various NIST frameworks including CSF 2.0, 800-207, and 800-53 - Understanding of the MITRE ATT&CK framework - Knowledge of OWASP and web application penetration testing - Connections within the broader information security community
