Responsibilities
- Conduct repairs on the hotel’s air conditioning systems, including filter changes, coil cleaning, and motor replacements.
- Perform preventive maintenance on all equipment, such as boilers, chillers, and HVAC systems.
- Take required readings on various equipment for monitoring purposes.
- Test and record data from cooling towers.
- Replace and program televisions as necessary.
- Change light switches, receptacles, bulbs, and fixtures.
- Repair furniture as needed.
- Replace and repair pumps.
- Carry out plumbing repairs including fixing clogged drains, changing washers, and handling pipe issues.
- Have the ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams proficiently.
- Trace and repair water lines of various types.
- Troubleshoot and repair kitchen equipment effectively.
- Maintain records for repairs and preventive maintenance for future reference.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal codes in all work performed.
- Clean, test, and repair swimming pools and spas as needed.
- Paint designated areas within the hotel.
- Repair and finish sheetrock effectively.
- Address repairs to all types of wall coverings.
- Repair and program the hotel’s electronic locking systems accordingly.
