Requirements
Must:
- 5–10 years of experience in IT support or systems administration
- Strong background in a multi-office environment
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and user-facing communication abilities
- Comfortable acting as the primary onsite IT presence
- Experience collaborating with Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and vendors
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, Admin Center)
- Familiarity with Windows OS administration and imaging tools
- Basic knowledge of networking principles (VPN, DNS, DHCP concepts)
- Experience with identity and device management tools (OneLogin, Okta, Azure AD, Intune, JAMF)
- Preferred experience with VOIP systems such as CallTower
- Solid understanding of general SaaS administration
Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 IT support for multiple offices and remote employees
- Troubleshoot issues related to hardware, software, and connectivity
- Support devices including laptops, docks, monitors, printers, and accessories
- Manage escalated issues beyond basic helpdesk support
- Handle user onboarding and offboarding processes
- Create accounts in Microsoft 365 and other SaaS applications
- Set up and deploy devices while managing access and permissions
- Maintain secure and consistent user lifecycle processes
- Provision and manage laptops, primarily focusing on Windows, with some Mac/iOS
- Oversee the inventory of devices and accessories
- Ensure endpoint security and timely patch updates
- Administer Microsoft 365 services like Exchange Online, Teams, and SharePoint
- Manage distribution groups, shared mailboxes, and licensing tasks
- Support Single Sign-On (SSO) environments and manage user access
- Assist with Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and security enforcement
- Monitor and support VPN connectivity and office networks
- Provide basic server and cloud connectivity support
- Escalate major issues to external partners as necessary
- Support mobile environments, including iPhones
- Administer Mobile Device Management (MDM) systems like JAMF
- Assist with VOIP systems such as CallTower
