Requirements
Must:
- High School diploma or equivalent; experience in hospitality or a related field is essential.
- Minimum of one year of progressive experience in a hotel or similar environment is preferred.
- Flexibility with long working hours may be necessary.
- Ability to lift heavy objects, sometimes exceeding 100 pounds, and frequently more than 50 pounds.
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills to engage effectively with all levels of staff and guests in a courteous and service-oriented manner.
- Strong listening skills for understanding and addressing concerns from employees and guests.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines effectively.

- Conduct inspections of guest rooms to identify and address repair needs.
- Install or repair drywall and various wall coverings.
- Paint designated areas and items as required.
- Install and replace basic electrical fixtures, including light switches, receptacles, and bulbs.
- Repair furniture as needed.
- Install, replace, and program televisions for proper functionality.
- Execute minor plumbing tasks when required.
- Replace and maintain heating and cooling systems, including preventative maintenance on units.
- Trace and repair all types of water lines.
- Troubleshoot and repair kitchen equipment to ensure operational efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and preventative maintenance activities.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Focus on improving departmental and overall guest satisfaction based on guest feedback scores.
- Practice safe working habits, use protective safety equipment, and adhere to MSDS and OSHA standards.
- Strive for overall guest satisfaction in all tasks performed.
- Carry out additional duties as directed by a supervisor.
