Requirements

Must:
### - A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with relevant experience in a hotel or related field. - A minimum of one year of progressively responsible experience in a hotel or similar setting is preferred. - Ability to work flexible and extended hours when necessary. - Capable of lifting over 100 pounds occasionally, over 50 pounds frequently, and over 20 pounds regularly. - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with employees and guests in a friendly and service-oriented fashion. - Proficient in actively listening to, understanding, and addressing concerns from employees and guests. - Ability to multitask and prioritize departmental activities to meet deadlines effectively. ###

Responsibilities

- Conduct inspections of rooms and identify repair needs. - Install or repair drywall and other wall coverings. - Paint designated areas and items as necessary. - Install and replace basic electrical fixtures, including light switches, receptacles, and bulbs. - Repair furniture as needed. - Install, replace, and program televisions. - Perform minor plumbing tasks. - Replace and repair heating and cooling systems, as well as conduct preventive maintenance on units. - Trace and repair various types of water lines. - Troubleshoot and repair kitchen equipment. - Maintain records for repairs and preventive maintenance. - Adhere to local, state, and federal codes during work tasks. - Monitor guest satisfaction scores and strive to improve both departmental and overall guest satisfaction. - Practice safe work habits, utilize protective equipment, and comply with MSDS and OSHA standards. - Ensure overall guest satisfaction. - Complete additional duties as assigned by the supervisor. ###
