Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree or Masters Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- 7 - 11 years of experience with various programming languages and operating systems
- Familiarity with the software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing life cycle (STLC)
- Proficiency in System Operations using ITIL processes
- Experience in the healthcare sector
- Expertise in relational databases for systems analysis
- Highly organized with strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to adapt to project changes and manage multiple tasks
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to collaborate and share knowledge across teams
- Flexibility under project demands and needs
- Capability to troubleshoot, escalate, and resolve technical issues
- Ability to work both independently and within a team-oriented environment
- Strong commitment to meeting deadlines and upholding commitments
- Capacity to effectively communicate technical impacts and corrective actions to management and team leads
- Preferably possesses domain knowledge in Medicare, Medicaid, or healthcare verticals
- Understanding of SharePoint applications, WebEx, Skype, etc. is preferred
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, especially Word, Excel, and Visio
- Familiarity with Object Oriented Analysis and Design, SQL, Java, C, C++, .NET, and PHP
- Strong web development understanding
- Knowledge of relational database concepts and database technologies such as Oracle, SQL Server, and DB2
- Experience with building applications that require high availability and scalability
- Knowledge of Linux, Perl, Python, and XML-RPC is preferred
- Ability to create complex database tables, views, stored procedures, triggers, and functions is preferred
- Skills in optimizing SQL queries and enhancing application performance are preferred
Responsibilities
- Operate as an individual contributor with minimal supervision, addressing complex problems and designing new software applications
- Analyze system requirements and create effective problem-solving methodologies through flow charts and data flow diagrams
- Provide guidance on computer requirements and limitations to define automation needs
- Develop detailed flowcharts, action diagrams, and documentation from high-level designs
- Collaborate with senior team members on system design and maintain detailed software component specifications
- Work with global development and testing teams to ensure successful project delivery
- Lead design discussions with application and program leads
- Create pseudo codes, tables, and narratives to implement necessary changes
- Offer technical consultations to solve design and reliability issues in system maintenance
- Document procedural guidelines for user reference
- Maintain operational records and prepare reports related to assignments
- Participate in the testing of software programs, revising documentation as necessary
- Monitor system errors, diagnose issues, and implement corrections
- Review and refine existing programs to enhance their efficiency
- Manage production tickets and troubleshoot issues, communicating with customers as needed
- Possess a strong understanding of SDLC and STLC along with system support and maintenance processes
- Demonstrate business acumen in one or more relevant domains
- Understand SLAs and OLAs that support system operations
- Track and manage tasks via an internal ticketing system
- Adhere to CMMI standards and improve process levels
- Contribute actively in meetings to resolve problems and discuss design solutions
- Maintain a commitment to customer service and operational excellence
- Assist in client presentations and provide technical support for projects
- Stay informed about new technologies and market developments
- Provide constructive feedback and mentorship to junior Systems Analyst staff
- Conduct knowledge transfer and training on new processes and techniques
- Familiarize with and comply with all corporate policies, including HIPAA regulations
