Requirements
Must:
- Active Secret security clearance
- Bachelors degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in cloud security, cybersecurity engineering, or a similar area
- Experience with cloud-based environments and security practices
- DoD 8570 / 8140 compliant certification (IAT Level II required)
- One or more cloud certifications (or the capacity to obtain within 6 months)
Responsibilities
- Assist in designing and implementing secure cloud architectures
- Identify security risks and vulnerabilities and contribute to developing mitigation strategies
- Help with system security engineering throughout the lifecycle, including design, integration, and validation
- Support the implementation and assessment of security-focused tools and services
- Participate in evaluating and mitigating system security threats and risks
- Aid in validating security requirements and designing secure systems
- Implement security controls across infrastructure, applications, and data
- Work collaboratively with engineering and cybersecurity teams to ensure secure operations
