Requirements
Must:
- An online portfolio showcasing analysis skills with nonconfidential data
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, DAX, Power Query, M, ETL, Python, PySpark, and SQL, with an emphasis on optimizing DAX performance
- Preferred certifications in Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300), Analytics Engineer Associate (DP-600), or Fabric Data Engineer Associate (DP-700)
- Previous experience with Microsoft Fabric, both relational and non-relational databases, data pipelines, medallion architecture, and star schema
- Strong emphasis on user experience, interaction design, data visualization, and best practices for accessibility
- 5 to 10+ years of relevant experience in delivering large-scale, complex programs focusing on technology transformation, big data, automation, analytics, and business intelligence
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and sustain high-quality, user-friendly interactive Power BI dashboards and reports that effectively communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) and business insights
- Construct and enhance semantic data models including relationships, calculated columns, and measures utilizing DAX
- Execute data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) with Power Query (M)
- Optimize data models and DAX calculations to ensure peak performance, scalability, and user satisfaction
- Produce and maintain comprehensive documentation for data models, transformation logic, report definitions, and operational processes to promote transparency and long-term maintainability
