Cloud Software Engineer - Azure/AWS

- Design, develop, and maintain software for cloud-based systems and applications within Azure environments - Support the development and enhancement of cloud-native applications and services aligned with data transport operations - Build, deploy, and maintain Kubernetes platforms across IL4, IL5, and IL6 environments, including Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) - Contribute to DevSecOps practices through the implementation of CI/CD pipelines, GitOps workflows, and automated software delivery - Utilize GitOps tools and frameworks such as CI/CD pipelines, Helm, Zarf, and Apache NiFi to facilitate application deployment and data transport workflows - Assist in workload migrations to cloud environments, ensuring performance, scalability, and security standards are met - Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code and automation scripts to enable secure, repeatable deployments - Implement and support STIG hardening scripts and secure configuration practices across cloud and application environments - Participate in system integration, testing, and validation activities across distributed cloud platforms - Address and resolve software, system, and performance issues within cloud and containerized setups - Help ensure reliability, scalability, and performance of cloud-based applications and services - Collaborate with engineering, operations, and cybersecurity teams to integrate security controls into DevSecOps pipelines - Provide mentorship and assistance to junior engineers while supporting compliance and audit readiness initiatives - Contribute to the creation of technical documentation, system design artifacts, and operational procedures relevant to cloud and DevSecOps environments
