Requirements

Must:
- Proven experience in technical support roles focusing on hardware repair, software troubleshooting, and network management. - Strong understanding of operating systems including Windows, macOS, and Linux; familiarity with Active Directory management is crucial. - Hands-on experience with computer networking principles such as TCP/IP protocols, DNS configuration, LAN/WAN setup, VPN services like Meraki, firewalls, and network security practices. - Proficient in utilizing enterprise tools like SCCM for software deployment, GPO for policy application, BMC Remedy or ServiceNow for ticket management, and Jira for project oversight. - Expertise in supporting various computer hardware components, including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals. - Excellent communication abilities to convey technical concepts to diverse audiences in an intelligible manner. - Strong analytical skills to swiftly identify issues and implement effective solutions. - Capacity to work independently as well as collaborate effectively in team dynamics within fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

- Create, enhance, and deliver engaging computer science curriculum materials that align with industry standards and educational best practices. - Instruct computer science classes for students in 3rd to 5th grades. - Provide thorough IT support to staff and students, efficiently resolving hardware, software, network, and operating system issues. - Manage computer hardware such as desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals to ensure optimal functioning and security. - Assist with troubleshooting software for applications like Microsoft Office, various operating systems, and specialized educational tools. - Oversee and manage IT infrastructure elements including Local Area Network (LAN), Wide Area Network (WAN), Virtual Private Networks (VPNs), firewalls, Domain Name System (DNS), Active Directory, TCP/IP protocols, and network security measures like Meraki devices. - Help deploy and manage enterprise tools such as SCCM, GPO, BMC Remedy, ServiceNow, Jira, and other platforms to enhance support processes. - Conduct periodic analysis of system logs and network performance metrics to proactively identify issues and initiate effective solutions. - Work in tandem with cross-functional teams to ensure robust network management, including TCP/IP configuration, DNS supervision, LAN/WAN troubleshooting, and security improvements. - Provide user training on operating systems, mobile device management, VPN access, firewall settings, and other IT-related subjects to foster user independence.
