IT Manager - Systems and Network Administration

- Act as the primary point of contact for all IT-related issues, resolving or escalating as necessary - Oversee relationships with all technology vendors, including Managed Service Providers (MSP) - Manage contracts and performance agreements with IT vendors - Collaborate with MSP on infrastructure, network, hardware, and helpdesk issues - Monitor system performance for areas of enhancement - Troubleshoot and resolve software and cloud-related problems outside the MSPs scope - Keep track of open IT issues, providing regular updates to staff and leadership - Administer Microsoft 365 user provisioning, license management, and security policies - Design and maintain SharePoint with standardized site configurations - Develop and implement strategies for cloud storage management across various platforms - Conduct access reviews to ensure appropriate permissions - Oversee software licensing, ensuring compliance and renewal - Establish and enforce IT policies related to governance and acceptable use - Maintain a Software Matrix documenting all applications and their details - Ensure adherence to applicable regulations like CJIS for law enforcement systems - Create data classification guidelines and security standards - Work with data and analytics vendors to align initiatives with City priorities - Develop and manage the IT operating and capital budgets - Track technology expenditures and provide financial analysis for investments - Oversee procurement processes for all IT-related expenditures - Maintain the Citys IT strategic roadmap in alignment with departmental and City objectives - Offer technology guidance to department heads and City leadership
