Requirements
Must:
- Associates or Bachelors degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience and certifications
- Minimum of 3 years demonstrating progressive responsibility in a related role
- Valid Drivers License
- FBI / CJIS security clearance and bi-annual certification are required
- MCSA/MCSE, SQL, CSA, CCNP, RHCSA certifications preferred
- Proficient in SQL, Power BI, PowerShell, and Python scripting
- Strong analytical skills for resolving complex technical issues
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and compliance requirements
- Capable of managing time effectively across multiple duties
- Excellent documentation skills to outline systems and procedures
- Communication skills to collaborate with various teams and stakeholders
- Ability to perform under stress and meet tight deadlines
- Experience in leading or participating in cross-functional teams
Responsibilities
- Lead the coordination and support of core data services and enterprise systems
- Oversee the complete lifecycle of assigned systems, including development and troubleshooting
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards and implement security measures
- Serve as primary technical support for ERP and utility systems, including after-hours troubleshooting
- Design and maintain data reports and visualizations to support decision-making
- Manage IT projects and system upgrades, liaising with vendors
- Document all assigned systems and services, providing training and support to users
- Ensure the security and reliability of server and backup infrastructures
- Research and assess emerging technologies for potential application
- Handle administrative tasks, including reports and support ticket management
- Participate in citywide initiatives to enhance organizational goals
Description
We are the City of Rock Hill, located in South Carolina, offering a dynamic work environment within our Information Technology Services Department. Our team is committed to effective software application integration and robust data support systems. We value professional growth and provide comprehensive training opportunities. Our work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with the expectation of on-call support as needed.
