Engineer - Java and Python Specialist

- High School diploma or equivalent required, experience in a hotel or a related sector preferred. - Preferred minimum of three years in a progressive role within a hotel or similar environment. - Trade school education or college coursework in a relevant field is a plus. - Prior supervisory experience is essential. - Willingness to work flexible and extended hours when necessary. - Capability to handle strenuous tasks, occasionally lifting over 100 pounds, frequently over 50 pounds, or constantly over 20 pounds. - Maintain a friendly and approachable demeanor at all times. - Strong verbal and written communication skills to engage with all levels of staff and guests in a service-oriented manner. - Effective listening and clarification skills to address concerns raised by guests and employees. - Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize duties to meet deadlines. - Approach all interactions with guests and staff in a courteous, friendly, and service-focused manner. - Participation in all mandatory meetings and training sessions required by the hotel. - Consistent attendance in line with Highgate Hotel standards, adaptable to hotel needs. - Adherence to high personal grooming and appearance standards, including proper uniform and name tag. - Abide by Highgate Hotel standards and guidelines to promote safe operations. - Focus on productivity and proactively identify and address problem areas. - Skillful problem-solving, capable of anticipatory, preventive, and identifying solutions as needed. - Competency in understanding and applying complex data from various sources to achieve goals. - Willingness to cross-train in other hotel departments as necessary. - Maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information. - Exhibit initiative, anticipating the needs of guests or operational tasks. - Complete additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
