Requirements
Must:
- I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, or another technical field with at least 5 years of experience in designing, executing, and documenting verification and validation plans and procedures, as well as in designing and building test equipment.
- I am familiar with PCBA/CCA design, fabrication, bring up, and troubleshooting, and possess a mechanical aptitude to specify required mechanical designs.
- I have proven experience in programming and extensive experience using and interfacing with standard Electrical Engineering lab equipment, such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, spectrum analyzers, and network analyzers.
- I am self-motivated in a fast-paced environment, a critical thinker with a strong curiosity to learn, and possess excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. I can communicate well through technical writing and effectively engage with others while leading by example.
- I must be a U.S. Person as defined by applicable law.
Responsibilities
- I will design, develop, and build Electrical, Mechanical, and Software solutions to verify product performance and quality.
- I will develop and document testing procedures.
- I will troubleshoot issues on test systems and products.
- I will continually improve the testing process and product quality.
- I will prepare project plans and provide status updates.
- I will gather information from Engineering and Production to develop requirements.
Description
In my role as a Systems Integration and Test Engineer, I will support Test Engineering and be involved in product design and support activities. This includes designing, building, and maintaining product verification fixtures, as well as supporting the Thales Navigation and non-radar Surveillance (NAS) business segment, which produces solutions utilized by over two-thirds of all planes worldwide for safe takeoff and landing. I will serve as a key link between product engineering, production, and quality, using a variety of engineering disciplines to break down requirements into test procedures.
I will work primarily from our Salt Lake City, UT office on a hybrid work schedule with an anticipated travel requirement of less than 10% annually.
