Requirements
Must:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, Computer Technology, or a related Engineering field
- 0 to 3 years of relevant technical experience; recent graduates and early-career professionals are encouraged to apply
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities with a keen interest in learning new technologies
- Good organizational skills with the ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks
- Basic familiarity with Windows and/or Linux operating systems
- Foundational knowledge of scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, Bash, or PowerShell)
- Initial experience with version control systems, especially Git
- Understanding of YAML-based configuration files
- Awareness of configuration management tools (like Ansible) and automation practices; hands-on experience is a bonus
- Interest in CI/CD pipelines, cloud technologies, and DevOps methodologies
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts (such as DNS, IP addressing, ports, and firewall settings)
- Proficient in using VS Code, terminal/shell tools, and basic DevOps utilities
- Ability to cultivate strong working relationships throughout the organization with a customer-focused mindset
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and maintaining Ansible playbooks and roles for automating configuration tasks across Windows and Linux servers under the mentorship of senior staff
- Collaborate in creating modular playbooks for various environments (development, testing, production) as part of team initiatives
- Learn and implement Ansible best practices by adhering to established standards
- Support the integration of Ansible workflows with CI/CD pipelines while working closely with experienced colleagues
- Help identify and resolve issues related to server configuration and automation with appropriate support
- Document Ansible playbooks, roles, and workflows for future reference and knowledge sharing
- Review logs and troubleshoot issues concerning automation, servers, or deployments
