Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, MIS, IT, or a related field, OR equivalent combination of education and experience totaling four years.
- Relevant security certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Network+, or Associate of ISC2 are preferred.
- Strong understanding of information security management at an enterprise level.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and maintaining endpoint products.
- Familiarity with security assessments, incident response, and root cause analysis.
Responsibilities
- Safeguard institutional assets by applying security baselines to systems and resolving issues to maintain business processes.
- Oversee system operations by monitoring for vulnerabilities and ensuring timely installation of updates and patches.
- Conduct security assessments to identify potential weaknesses in hardware, software, and network infrastructure, and relay findings to appropriate parties.
- Investigate potential security incidents, analyze root causes, and implement strategies to prevent recurrence.
