Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in software development with expertise in multiple programming languages like Java, C#, Python, C++, and VBA.
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure elements, including cloud services (AWS, Azure), Linux systems, and network protocols such as REST.
- Practical experience using front-end development frameworks such as React and Express.js for web applications.
- Familiarity with application lifecycle management tools like GitHub, Git, SVN, and continuous integration methodologies.
- Understanding of relational databases such as MySQL and SQL Server; experience in designing efficient database schemas is a plus.
- Experience working in Agile environments to successfully deliver projects collaboratively and on schedule.
- Comprehension of security principles like RBAC (Role-Based Access Control) and best practices for API security.
- Exposure to quantum engineering concepts or related advanced technologies is a plus but not required.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve intricate issues across varied environments including Windows, Linux, and cloud platforms.
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and launch scalable software applications using programming languages including Java, C#, Python, and C++.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs, and integrate third-party APIs to enhance system capabilities.
- Create reliable front-end interfaces with React, JavaScript, and Express to ensure seamless user experiences.
- Manage cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure to guarantee high availability and security for applications.
- Collaborate in Agile teams to plan sprints, review code utilizing GitHub and SVN, and deliver incremental improvements.
- Optimize interactions with databases such as MySQL and SQL Server for efficient data access.
- Maintain version control practices with Git and SVN to preserve code integrity throughout development cycles.
- Implement security best practices, including RBAC, to protect sensitive data.
- Contribute to the progression of quantum engineering projects by applying specialized knowledge where relevant.
- Support Linux-based environments for application deployment and troubleshooting activities.
